Hello and Welcome to Woodford Rest! My husband, Matthew, and I purchased this small motel in the Spring of 2023. We left the Pacific Northwest to find a more peaceful and mindful lifestyle. Our Family
Matthew and Elizabeth were born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. In 2023, they moved to Woodford, Vermont and began working on a motel property they had purchased. Almost immediately, they fell in love with the beauty of Vermont and its people. They decided to call the property Woodford Rest so that others could enjoy the relaxation and comfort that they had been searching for.
Our History
Elizabeth's parents, Dave and Kathy, both passed away before they could see Woodford Rest. Through their hard work, love, and enrichment, they made Woodford Rest a possibility. Their example inspired Elizabeth and Matthew to open the motel in the hope that they could provide a safe and welcoming environment that felt like home for everyone.
